Garage Door Opener Replacement
Customer Issue: Mrs. Pierce wanted to upgrade her very old garage door opener to something that would be quieter, and move her door quicker.
Our Solution: We suggested a Genie 4042-TKH model garage door opener to Mrs. Pierce. Its lightweight motor meant the door would not only move without noise but swiftly as well. Our professionals detached the old opener from the door and got it off the overhead rail, before sliding on the new Genie instead. After connecting it, we checked its functionality thoroughly.
Garage Door Troubleshooting
Customer Issue: The customer’s garage door closed suddenly as he was about to take his car out, and refused to open again.
Our Solution: Disconnecting the wall panel and taking the battery out of the remote didn’t help, so our team checked the lift cables, and then the garage door opener. The problem wasn’t the logic board, but just the wiring connecting the antenna. Replacing it was simple, and effective, and the problem was quickly solved.
Spring Replacement
Customer Issue: A broken extension spring brought this customer’s door rattling to a halt.
Our Solution: The door had to be manually raised and locked in place after the opener was unplugged, and our team had the customer remove his car. Both springs came off easily after being fully relaxed, and our team put in a pair of replacements of a more durable variety.
Garage Door Off Track
Customer Issue: Warped tracks and worn down rollers.
Our Solution: The tracks were so warped that we had to take them down and install new ones. Rollers were also pretty damaged, so we replaced them, and finished the job by lubricating the system.
New Garage Door Installation
Customer Issue: Manual garage door.
Our Solution: This customer knew exactly what he was looking for in a door, and decided on the Windsor Model 790. We installed both the door and LiftMaster 8355W opener, programmed the remote and explained how everything worked.
Opener Remote Control Failed
Customer Issue: Remote not working.
Our Solution: We inspected the whole system and made sure the opener was functioning properly in manual mode. Since everything was working fine including the batteries, we solved the problem by reprogramming the remote.
